Why CORE?An Interactive Walk-Through of Modern Safety Training
You're not just reading about us, you're experiencing what we build. Every interaction in this course is the same kind of interaction your workers would get in a custom CORE-built training program.
What you'll experience
This isn't a brochure. By the time you reach the end of this course, you'll have lived through every interaction type we'd build into a course for your workers, and you'll walk away with a personalized completion certificate to prove it.

Most in-house training was built once, years ago
Let's be honest
Alberta's OH&S Code has changed four times in the last ten years. Operations evolve. New hazards appear. But the training? It might still be a stack of printed pages with your old logo on it.
Workers Deserve Better
Your crews are the ones facing the hazards. They need training that actually prepares them, not a binder they sign and forget.
Auditors Expect Better
COR and SECOR audits demand proof of training, knowledge verification, and current content. Your training program needs to demonstrate that workers have actually engaged with the material.
Your Business Depends On It
One incident traced back to outdated training is one too many. Modern programs aren't a luxury, they're a liability shield.

PDF vs. PowerPoint vs. Interactive
You can check the compliance box with any of these. But only one of them actually changes how your crew behaves on the job site.
| Feature | PowerPoint | Interactive (CORE) | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Engagement | Read-only | Presenter-dependent | Self-paced & interactive |
| Knowledge checks | None | Manual / honour system | Built-in, auto-scored |
| Completion tracking | None | Manual sign-off | Automatic digital proof |
| Video integration | Not possible | Difficult to execute | Seamless & in-line |
| Mobile friendly | Hard to read | Not designed for it | Fully responsive |
| Audit readiness | None | None | Certificates & records auto-generated |
| Updateability | Rebuild from scratch | Slide-by-slide edits | Modular, fast updates |
| Branding | Basic logo placement | Template-limited | Fully custom-branded |
| Worker retention | Low | Presenter-dependent | High via active participation |

Knowledge Check #1
Try one out. This is exactly the kind of in-line check we'd build into your custom course, workers can't skip past it.
Question
Of the three training formats, which one provides automatic, audit-ready proof that a worker actually completed the training and understood it?
Why C is the right answer
Interactive courses are the only format that combines verified knowledge (the worker has to pass), automated tracking (timestamped completion records), and physical proof (a generated certificate). That's exactly what auditors want to see, and exactly what a CORE-built course delivers every time.

Technology-driven, not template-based
Every program we build is digital-first and designed to live inside the systems your team already uses, like SiteDocs, Salus, or your own platform.
Platform-Integrated
Built to live inside the compliance platforms your team already runs. No new tools to learn, no extra logins, no friction.
Field-Ready Delivery
Roll it out the moment it's delivered. Knowledge checks, embedded video, and certificates on completion, no binders, no chasing signatures.
Your Brand, Not Ours
Your logo. Your colours. Your fonts. Your voice. The finished course looks like it came from inside your organization, because it should.
Audit-Ready From Day One
Every program ships with a written reference document covering regulatory requirements, structured knowledge checks, and proof-of-training documentation auditors expect.

Meet Sarah
Scenarios are how interactive training actually changes behaviour. Workers don't memorize rules, they walk through situations they'll face on site. Here's the kind of scenario we'd build for your team.
Sarah, Site Supervisor
Sarah is onboarding a new subcontractor crew arriving Monday morning. She has 30 minutes before the morning safety meeting. The old orientation is a 47-page PDF nobody has updated since 2022.
The old way
Sarah prints 8 copies of the binder, hands them out, runs through the highlights verbally, asks the crew to sign the last page, and files the sheet. Twenty minutes later they're on site. A few hours in, a contractor comes up and asks her a question that was covered in the package, but Sarah didn't have time to walk through it and clearly the worker didn't catch it on their own.
The CORE way
Sarah sends the crew a QR code. Each worker scans it on their phone, completes the orientation at their own pace, including site-specific scenarios, embedded videos of actual hazards on the property, and a final quiz. Anyone who scores under 80% retakes it. Certificates land in Sarah's dashboard automatically.

Video, in-line and on point
Whether it's a hazard demonstration, a step-by-step procedure, or a site walkthrough, video sits right inside the course. No jumping out to YouTube, no broken links, no buffering for offline crews.
